Established in 2010.

When Don Won first came to the United States in the 1970s, one of his first meals was a hot pastrami dip. He immediately fell in love with it, but always felt like something was missing—a taste of home. Over time, he began refining his own recipes, blending classic American deli flavors with his personal touch, guided by his unique perspective, taste, and heart. 

That passion led to years of success in the restaurant industry, where he had the opportunity to cater to celebrities and professional sports teams. After a long and fulfilling career, Don and his wife eventually retired. 

However, while living in Ontario, Don realized something was missing. He saw plenty of corporate dining options, but not enough places focused on food made with care and intention. Wanting to bring that experience back, he came out of retirement to create something special. That vision became Corner Deli.

Over time, Don passed the deli down to his nephew, Daniel, who continued the tradition. When Daniel was ready to move on, Corner Deli was purchased by Nick, a longtime customer and local business owner who also owns a Wienerschnitzel nearby.

Nick loved Corner Deli so much that he couldn’t let it become just a memory. In January 2026, he relocated the deli inside Wienerschnitzel and proudly reopened it, continuing the legacy of serving quality food made with care.
